Digital Media Analyst and SEO Specialist

Dailycricket.com.bd, a fully owned subsidy of ONE DIGITAL BD, is a sports-based news website, covering exclusively the game of cricket. The site features extensive and insightful editorial coverage; news, reports, articles, fixtures; and ball by ball live update of all international and major domestic cricket competitions from around the world.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for social media analysis and deep understanding of SEO to join our team. The ideal team member should have a proven track record of relevant work experience in a similar role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Social Media & SEO Expert is a dual role that will be responsible for maximizing content visibility across search engines and social platforms. This position requires someone who can leverage expertise in social media algorithms, analytics tools, utilize platform-specific features along with rigorous technical optimization. You will be responsible for ensuring that all digital content is not only engaging and shareable but also technically sound and architected for high search rankings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize YouTube, Facebook and TikTok SEO and all other social platforms to improve reach, views and engagement.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance using Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Studio etc.
  • All regular SEO related work such as keyword research, on page off page SEO, link building strategy, technical SEO check and fix, search control etc. 
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to grow audience and content performance
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to platforms (reach and distribution, copyright, monetization, account issues, etc.)
  • Stay updated with algorithm changes across YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok and others.
  • Work closely with the content team to strengthen digital presence
  • Ensure consistent growth of followers, subscribers, and engagement for cricket news content.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Hours of work: Saturday to Thursday.

Probation period: 6 months

যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):

    • Diploma
    • Bachelor/Honors
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, digital media, communication studies, or a related field is typically preferred.
  • Certifications: Certifications in social media marketing (e.g., Meta Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate) are highly regarded. 

অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):

  • At least 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Advertising Agency, IT Enabled Service, Newspaper/Magazine, Online Newspaper/ News Portal, Web Media/Blog

অতিরিক্ত প্রয়োজন (Additional Requirements):

  • Age 22 to 45 years

Skills and Qualifications

  • Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and their respective algorithms.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data from monitoring tools and use analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of social media management tools (Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Studio etc.
  • SEO Expertise : Expertise in technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and News specific schema.
  • Tool Stack : Proficiency in SEMrush/Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and News Dashboard.

 Educational & Experience Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a social media specialist, manager, or in a similar role.
  • Passion: Passion and knowledge of cricket, since it is a cricket related sports portal.
