দায়িত্ব ও প্রেক্ষাপট (Job Context and Responsibilities)
REPORTING TO: Merchandise Supervisor / Merchandise Manager
ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
To handle multiple sampling requests at a time and organize the work to ensure timely execution.
Consolidate the package from USA & corporate internal production & washing process to maintain good quality and meet customers’ expectations with required Testing formalities.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Include but not limited to
Monitor daily work of junior members in the team to ensure instructions & guidelines are followed & delivery on time.
Downloading the details to sampling request from the database and generating workbook with all information needed to start sample execution.
To go through the inventory charts on daily basis and ensure all the trims and fabrics are available for sampling.
Book the running materials if inventory is less than the standard minimum quantity.
Review the samples before dispatching to ensure the right product is delivered to our customer.
Ensuring customers’ requirements are met by coordinating with other functional departments of product development center.
Work out initial cost in development stage for each style & review with Supervisor accordingly.
Regular communication with buyers & other counterparts to ensure smooth functionality in all departments.
Following up inbound & outbound logistics of trims & other related materials necessary to execute sampling.
Communicating with merchandisers & providing them with all the necessary information if & when required.
Close all proto requests once the samples are shipped to US.
Assist Supervisor in planning the delivery timeline and advise status to related parties accordingly.
Regularly update the bulk std status in the bulk std chart and share with merchandisers.
Ensure that we are doing Testing in 1st sample and share the result with concerned person if there is any failure.
fabric / trim replenishment to ensure sample to make on time.
Provide accurate initial costing.
যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা
শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fashion Designing, Textile Engineering
- Masters
- Diploma
Bachelor/master’s degree from reputed Institute or Diploma/bachelor from Fashion Institute or in Textile Technology.
অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Good eyesight to recognize different colors.
General understanding of Commercial & Technical familiarity in yarn, fabrics, textile wet process, garments dry & wet processes & international quality norms.
Fluent in written English and good at oral English.
Good command of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Good analytical skill and proactive nature to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Able to readily adopt changes.
