দায়িত্ব ও প্রেক্ষাপট (Job Context and Responsibilities)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Specialist to lead tax compliance, financial planning, investment analysis, and government liaison activities at the head office. The role requires strong expertise in Bangladesh taxation, banking regulations, financial modeling, and cross-functional decision support for business expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tax compliance, VAT, income tax filings, audit coordination, and regulatory reporting in Bangladesh.
- Handle liaison with NBR, Bangladesh Bank, RJSC, Customs, and commercial banks for approvals, filings, and operational requirements.
- Develop investment feasibility studies, financial models (cash flow, NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis) for new business initiatives.
- Support strategic financial decision-making, including JV evaluation, risk analysis, and fund flow structuring.
- Maintain internal financial controls, reporting systems, and compliance frameworks aligned with HQ requirements.
- Supervise finance team members and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders for compliance and advisory matters.
যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা
শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
- Master of Professional Finance (MPF)
- IBA, Dhaka University,University of Dhaka students will get preference
Professional certification (ACCA / CPA / CMA / ICAB) strongly preferred.
অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):
- At least 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Engineering Firms, Consulting Firms, Power, Solar Energy, Building & Construction Materials
অতিরিক্ত প্রয়োজন (Additional Requirements):
- Age At least 32 years
- Only Male
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3+ years in a senior role. - Experience in MNCs, large corporations, or infrastructure/engineering sectors preferred.
- Professional certification (ACCA / CPA / CMA / ICAB) strongly preferred.
- Students of Dhaka University will be preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh tax laws (VAT, income tax, customs duty).
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel expertise.
- Understanding of Bangladesh Bank forex regulations, import/export procedures, and RJSC compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting systems.
Core Competencies & Soft Skills:
- Financial modeling (NPV, IRR, cash flow) with project/investment evaluation
- Compliance, audit, internal controls, and strategic financial planning
- Strong English communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving- Leadership, teamwork, integrity, and ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
