দায়িত্ব ও প্রেক্ষাপট (Job Context and Responsibilities)

BioTech Services is a company dealing with marketing, distribution and technical service support of diagnostic equipments and reagents at different diagnostics labs and hospitals in Bangladesh and well known for providing excellent service support to it’s valued clients. BioTech Services is the exclusive distributor of world renowned brands-Sysmex Corporation-Japan, Roche Diagnostics-Switzerland, Arkray Corporation-Japan, Helena Biosciences Europe-UK, RR Mechatronics-The Netherlands.

Job Context: The Manager, Operations- Store & Distribution will be responsible for leading and managing all inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution operations of the company. The incumbent will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of diagnostic instruments, reagents, consumables and spare parts while ensuring optimum inventory levels, inventory accuracy and uninterrupted product availability to support business operations.

This position requires strong expertise in inventory management, warehouse operations, supply chain coordination and ERP-based inventory control. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, process improvements, regulatory compliance and cost-effective distribution practices while contributing to the company`s sustainable growth through effective leadership, accountability, integrity and customer-focused service delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Imported goods receiving activities as per LC packing list and take-up any shortage/ damage issue with CNF agent and report to Section head. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels, avoiding both shortages and overstock.

  • Collaborate with production planning teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are aligned with supply chain activities. Coordinate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and ensure accuracy in inventory records. Provide Regular Workshop Inventory to Management. Physical stock count as Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly with match ERP software and report to Section head.

  • Ensure full capacity of incoming vehicles from different ports by physical checking before unloading and delivery update report to Section head.

  • Ensure mismatch by taking maximum care at the time of product delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with FEFO/FIFO principles and proper management of batch-controlled and expiry-sensitive products.

  • Ensure courier booking to outside dealers as per invoice.

  • Ensure full vehicle capacity at the time of loading the delivery vehicle.

  • Monitor and manage costs associated with inventory, aiming to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

  • Maintain an organized and tidy store, ensuring that parts and tools are easily accessible.

  • Implement and manage effective storage solutions to maximize space utilization.

  • Keep detailed records of all transactions, including purchases, sales and stock movements.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

  • Ensure workplace safety, warehouse security, and proper handling of sensitive and temperature-controlled products.

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.

  • Analyze market trends and adjust commercial strategies to align with business objectives.

  • Develop and manage logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of products.

  • Monitor logistics performance and implement improvements to enhance delivery times and reduce costs.

  • Liaise with external and internal auditors for the completion of statutory and other audits in a timely manner.

  • Any other task assigns by the management

যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):

    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management

  • Hon’s/Masters/ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management/ Cost & Management Accounting

অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):

  • 10 to 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Medical Equipment

অতিরিক্ত প্রয়োজন (Additional Requirements):

  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • Only Male

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.

  • Professional and fluent skill in spoken and written in English.

  • Must have strong leadership and communication skills to handle work with foreign clients.
