দায়িত্ব ও প্রেক্ষাপট (Job Context and Responsibilities)
Job Purpose
As the Sr. Manager, IT for our Group of Companies, you will serve as the strategic visionary and operational leader for all technology infrastructure, digital transformation initiatives, cyber security, and enterprise systems across our diverse business units. You will align our overarching IT strategy with business goals to drive efficiency, scale, and competitive advantage for the entire group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Digital Transformation
Develop, execute, and continuously update the Group’s long-term IT blueprint to support business diversification and scalability.
Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, incorporating cutting-edge technologies (AI, automation, cloud computing) to optimize multi-subsidiary operations.
Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership regarding emerging tech trends, investment risks, and digital opportunities.
2. Infrastructure & Shared Services Management
Oversee the central IT infrastructure, including enterprise cloud systems (AWS/Azure), hybrid data centers, networks, and communication systems.
Streamline IT operations across different business units using a Shared Services model to ensure maximum resource efficiency and cost-savings.
Direct the deployment, integration, and maintenance of core enterprise software platforms (e.g., ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, CRM, and Supply Chain management tools).
3. Governance, Cyber security & Risk Management
Establish and enforce group-wide IT policies, governance structures, data architecture guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
Architect and oversee a robust cyber security framework to protect intellectual property and sensitive corporate/financial data across all business nodes.
Develop comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP) for critical tech operations.
4. Vendor Management & IT Procurement
Lead the evaluation, procurement, and contract negotiations for major hardware, software, and vendor service agreements group-wide.
Optimize IT capital expenditure (Cap Ex) and operational expenditure (OpEx) budgets across all subsidiaries.
5. Team Leadership & Talent Development
Mentor, cultivate, and manage a high-performing centralized IT team and distributed tech support leaders across different units.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and security-first corporate culture within the technology department.
যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা
শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology, or a related field.
MBA or Master's in a technology-related discipline is highly preferred.
অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):
- At least 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University, Real Estate, Jewelry/Gem
অতিরিক্ত প্রয়োজন (Additional Requirements):
- Age At least 40 years
Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role specifically within a Group of Companies or a large conglomerate.
Proven track record managing large-scale ERP implementation and migrations.
Strong familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure administration and enterprise cyber security frameworks.
Solid understanding of data governance, business intelligence (BI), and analytical warehousing.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and decisive problem-solving abilities.
A strategic mindset coupled with a people-first management approach.
