দায়িত্ব ও প্রেক্ষাপট (Job Context and Responsibilities)

  • Lead all mechanical maintenance activities for Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Injection Blow Molding (IBM), ISBM, Printing, Sealing, and auxiliary equipment.

  • Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum downtime.

  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.

  • Supervise installation, commissioning, relocation, and modification of machinery.

  • Maintain and optimize utilities including Air Compressors, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Water Pumps, Vacuum Pumps, Air Dryers, and Process Cooling Systems.

  • Monitor and improve hydraulic and pneumatic system performance.

  • Manage critical spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of maintenance materials.

  • Control maintenance costs while ensuring equipment reliability.

  • Implement TPM, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Identify and implement energy-saving and utility optimization projects.

  • Lead, train, and supervise maintenance engineers, supervisors, technicians, and mechanics.

  • Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Procurement departments.

  • Support new machine selection, installation, validation, and production trials.

  • Ensure accurate maintenance reporting through ERP systems.

  • Support audits (ISO, FSSC, SEDEX, customer audits) by ensuring maintenance compliance and documentation.

যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):

    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):

  • 5 to 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Plastic/ Polymer Industry

অতিরিক্ত প্রয়োজন (Additional Requirements):

  • Age 30 to 40 years

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Private/ Public university. (Diploma holders with exceptional experience may be considered.)

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a plastic manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Hands-on experience with Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Injection Blow Molding (IBM), ISBM, Printing, and Sealing machinery.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical power transmission, and utility systems.

  • Sound understanding of Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance practices.

  • Basic understanding of PLC-controlled machinery and ability to coordinate with electrical/automation teams for troubleshooting.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Good leadership, team management, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
