Job Context

The selected candidate will be appointed in one of the following departments based on qualifications, experience, eligibility, and institutional requirements:
Medicine and Allied Subjects
Surgery and Allied Subjects
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Paediatrics
Neuromedicine
Nephrology
Dermatology & Venereology
Psychiatry
Pulmonology
Gastroenterology
General Surgery
Orthopaedics & Traumatology
Ophthalmology
Otolaryngology (ENT)
Anaesthesiology
Oncology & Radiotherapy
Urology
Job Responsibilities
Provide academic and clinical leadership within the respective department.
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, bedside teaching, seminars, tutorials, and clinical demonstrations.
Supervise interns, postgraduate trainees, and medical students.
Conduct research and publish in nationally and internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals.
Participate in curriculum development, examinations, academic planning, and quality assurance.
Lead Continuing Medical Education (CME), workshops, seminars, and faculty development activities.
Maintain excellence in patient care through evidence-based clinical practice.
Contribute to departmental administration and institutional development.
Perform any other academic, clinical, and administrative duties assigned by the College Authority.
যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা
শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
FCPS / MD / MS / MPhil / PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant discipline.
Valid BMDC Registration Certificate.
Eligibility for appointment as Professor according to the latest BMDC and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare regulations.
অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):
- 5 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Medical College
অতিরিক্ত প্রয়োজন (Additional Requirements):
- Age At least 35 years
- Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the position of Professor as prescribed by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC), the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and the affiliated University.
- Strong academic, clinical, teaching, and research background.
- Demonstrated leadership in medical education and faculty development.
- A record of publications in peer-reviewed journals will be considered an added advantage.
