Job Context

BGC Trust Medical College, a renowned institution committed to excellence in medical education, clinical services, research, and innovation, invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated medical professionals for the position of Registrar.

The selected candidate will be appointed in one of the following departments based on qualifications, experience, eligibility, and institutional requirements:

  • Medicine and Allied Subjects

  • Surgery and Allied Subjects

  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology

  • Paediatrics

  • Dermatology & Venereology

  • Orthopaedics & Traumatology

  • Otolaryngology (ENT)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical services in the respective department under the guidance of senior consultants and faculty members.

  • Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of inpatients and outpatients while ensuring high standards of patient care.

  • Conduct ward rounds, emergency duties, on-call responsibilities, and clinical procedures as assigned.

  • Supervise and guide intern doctors, medical officers, and postgraduate trainees in clinical practice.

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, medical documentation, and departmental reports.

  • Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, bedside demonstrations, seminars, journal clubs, and clinical discussions.

  • Assist in departmental research activities, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME), workshops, seminars, conferences, and professional development programmes.

  • Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and compliance with BMDC regulations and institutional policies.

  • Perform any other clinical, academic, or administrative responsibilities assigned by the College or Hospital Authority.

যোগ্যতা ও অভিজ্ঞতা

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা (Education):

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

  • Valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

  • Experience RequirementsCandidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the respective position as prescribed by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC), the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and the Affiliated University.

  • Teaching and clinical experience in a recognized medical college or teaching hospital is required.

  • Enrollment in post-graduation will be cosidered as an added advantage.

  • Research publications in peer-reviewed journals will be considered as an added advantage.

অভিজ্ঞতা (Experience):

  • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University, Hospital, Group of Companies, Diagnostic Centre

অতিরিক্ত প্রয়োজন (Additional Requirements):

  • Age At least 28 years

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability (for senior faculty positions).

  • Commitment to quality medical education, research, and patient care.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital teaching-learning platforms.
